Hallet, wife of Henry Hallet, and daughter of George Wood, Esq., aged 28 years. " ... At the Bidwell place Hallet’s first romance began. George Woods, who was then in business with General Bidwell, had a daughter, Mary Woods. A friendship which began with their first meeting soon waxed into love, and in the spring of 1868 Henry Hallet and Mary Woods were married. Their happiness was of short duration.
